PN-7 Transparent Sealant Transparent Organic Protective Film
PN-7 Transparent Sealant is a high-performance organic protective film designed for use on various passivation layers.
Key Properties
- Does not contain hexavalent chromium
- Compatible with both hexavalent and trivalent chromium passivation layers, as well as chrome-free process components
- Forms a transparent protective film that typically preserves the original color of the passivation layer
- Enhances corrosion resistance by 20-30% NSS (when used as sealant) according to ASTM B117 standards, preventing white rust formation
- Offers versatile application methods including centrifugal dip coating and spray coating
Recommended Process
Zinc plating → Water wash → Nitrate leaching (0.5% v/v) → Water wash → Trivalent chromium passivation → Circulatory water wash → Drying → Sealing with PN-7 → Drying (50℃ for 25 minutes or 120℃ for 10 minutes)
